Cate Simmons- Club Teams: 575 PCVC Local Matt; 575 Beach Volleyball

I play at mvp beach and 575 14-1 national club team. We have placed top ten in many tournaments. For beach I have placed first is 14s 6 times and top 3 in 16s 4 times. I have one multiple academic awards. For school I was captain of our 8th grade team and we won the county championship. Along with track back to back.

I played for the Rising Starr 7th and 8th grade teams, I am a middle or outside hitter, I also play basketball, swimming and tennis, I am really excited for this season and to play for SMHS, my favorite bible verse is Galatians 1:10

I’ve played volleyball for 3 years, and I’ve participated in some A5 action and been on a Regionals 15U team for 575. I’ve participated in 6 575 tournaments that I can’t ever seem to remember the names of:). In my free time (which is quite rare), I enjoy drawing, hanging out with my friends, and shooting baskets (I’m also a basketball girl). I look forward to my first season of high school volleyball and I hope to become a better player through my fellow players’ and coaches’ advice.

My name is Mattie Elyse Arnold. I have been on the RSMS volleyball team for 2 years. I was the libero for my second year on the RSMS and won the county championship. Also I have been on the regional- 13 575 team. My second year playing for 575 I got pulled up for a regional tournament for the 15u. Through all of this I have been defensive captain and gotten the ace award twice. I want to attend Mississippi State University to hopefully become a small animal vet one day. My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withers and flowers fall but the word of God endures forever.

I love to play volleyball it is one of my favorite hobbies! I played for 575 volleyball. We had many tournaments like lucky leprechaun, big south, and more.

This is my 3rd year playing Volleyball. I have played at A5 South and 575 on a national team. The highlight of my volleyball career so far has been winning the county championship during my 8th grade at Rising Starr. I enjoy playing indoor and beach volleyball.

I play for 575 14-1 National volleyball team. Along with volleyball, I also play basketball, flag football, and run track. I hope to play sports at the college level. After college, I would like to be a veterinarian.

I love playing volleyball. In college, I hope to go to UGA to earn a business degree, and then someday open my own bakery. I would love to play in college if I could. I also enjoy spending time with my family and going on trips.

I played for tsunami for two years. Some of the tournaments we went to were big south, sunshine qualifiers, northern light, qualifiers,SRVA regionals, JVA world challenger. I was also caption last year and revived the coaches award

I am a 5’3 ds who has played for 3 years at Tsunami Volleyball, and 2 years at Starrs Mill. Last year my team won regionals at SRVA, and I am going to nationals this year on 16-Kerry. I love the ocean and I’m planning on being a marine biologist, or something down the science pathway.

I played school volleyball in 7th and 8th grade, and I also did 575 beach this spring. My favorite hobbies are swim team, going in golf cart rides, and baking. I’m so excited for this season and can’t wait to make memories!

I’m Gabby Huggins, and I’m one of the freshman players on JV. I like reading, swimming, hanging out with my friends outside, and of course volleyball. I played club at 575 with Coach Matt Trucks as a RS Hitter, and the biggest tournament I have been to was the SRVA Regionals. My favorite song is You Say by Lauren Daigle.

Landry is highly energetic and athletic! She plays three sports, including volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. This is her second year in volleyball. She played on the Rising Starr Middle School team and has done camps at Tsunami and 575. Landry loves competing, encouraging her teammates and has a heart for the Lord. She is an asset to any team!

Hi! My name is Zoë and I have been playing volleyball for 2 years. I picked up a passion for it after doing a mini club with my friends. I have played on a indoor volleyball club team for 575 and now play beach volleyball for 575. I enjoy traveling with my family, and my love of travel sparked my desire to work in the aviation industry. My favorite quote is one by Walt Disney- “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” I love a challenge, & am excited for what the future holds!

I played for 575 volleyball on a regional team and I am a setter, this was my first season so making the regional team was a big accomplishment for me. My favorite quote is “ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” I think that this is relatable for me because I always need to remind myself that God is always with me.

My name is Anna Moran. I will be a freshmen this upcoming season. This will be my first year on a vollyball team for SMHS. I have recntly played on the Jv softvabll team, flag football team, and Lacrosse team for Starr's Mill High School.
